- Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face.

- Do not wear any makeup, mascara, or residual glue.

- Gently exfoliate and hydrate your skin the night before. Start exfoliating weekly so makeup doesn't move

- Lips: Exfoliate and hydrate lips the night before.

- Do not apply any face oils or spf the day of 

-Hair must be clean & completely dry before styling begins

-Wash your hair no sooner than 24 hours & no later than 72 hours before your appointment 

-Avoid heavy oils, leave-in products, or serums

-Extensions (if applicable): Must be clean, dry, and detangled prior to arrival. We recommend clip-ins only unless pre-arranged. 

- Brows: Arrive with brows already groomed (waxed/threaded/plucked) 2-3 days before

- Avoid doing this within 48 hours of your event to reduce redness or sensitivity.

- Lashes: If wearing extensions, ensure they are clean and brushed.

-Lash extensions or fills should be done 2-3 days prior, not the day of service

- Strip lashes can be provided and applied for an additional fee

- Wear a neutral colored button-down or wide neck shirt (ideally white or light-colored) that you don't mind getting a little product on

- Have inspiration photos ready for your desired look and communicate preferences clearly

- If you're getting a spray tan, schedule it at least 48 hours before your makeup appointment and/or preview. We recommend trialing your spray tan 4 weeks in advance 

- Facials or dermaplaning should be done 1 week before to avoid irritation

- Avoid trying new skincare prodcuts the week of your appointment to reduce the risk or reaction

-Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service.

-Make sure you have filled out the Luxury Makeup Questionnaire

-Inform your artist of any allergies sensitvities, or medical conditions (this is also covered in the questionnaire).

-For on-location: please make sure to provide a clean, indoors, closed, and private work area ready at the location where services are to be performed. This location will also provide Montrose Day Spa and/or their assistants with an appropriate and large enough surface area (table, flat surface) to work from for each 2 artists, appropriate lighting, and electrical outlets.
